The move highlights the growing connection between traditional finance and the cryptocurrency sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, the deal involves 250 Digital, a firm spun out of CoinFund earlier this year. The company is led by experienced crypto investors Christopher Perkins and Seth Ginns. Additional details about the acquisition have not yet been disclosed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Franklin Templeton, long known for its role in mutual funds and traditional portfolio management, has been gradually building its presence in the crypto space since entering the market in 2018.
