Industry sources expect the markup before month-end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The delay comes amid growing industry opposition, particularly over provisions that could restrict stablecoin yield. Coinbase withdrew its support this week, with CEO Brian Armstrong saying the bill, as written, limits investor upside despite offering regulatory clarity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Critics argue the draft would ban stablecoin yield, restrict tokenized assets, and expand DeFi surveillance.
