At the same time, most large cap altcoins have held steady compared to yesterday, with the exception of TRX, which recorded a noticeable gain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bitcoin Struggles to Break Past 79K<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a quiet period last weekend, Bitcoin gained momentum early Monday and surged to seventy nine thousand five hundred dollars for the second time in roughly ten days. However, the rally was quickly rejected as selling pressure increased. By Monday evening, the price had fallen below seventy seven thousand dollars and dropped further under seventy six thousand the following day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Price swings continued around the third FOMC meeting of the year on Wednesday. Even though interest rates remained unchanged as expected, Bitcoin briefly climbed toward seventy eight thousand dollars before slipping to just under seventy five thousand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The asset recovered on Thursday and Friday, supported in part by geopolitical developments involving a new peace proposal from Iran to the United States. Bitcoin reached seventy eight thousand dollars again and held that level on Saturday. On Sunday morning, it rose above seventy nine thousand after another proposal reached Washington.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite this, Donald Trump expressed skepticism, and Bitcoin\u2019s upward move was quickly halted. The price fell back to seventy eight thousand dollars, where it found support and now trades slightly above that level. Its market capitalization remains stable at about one point five seven trillion dollars, while its dominance over altcoins has increased to fifty eight point five percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

XRP Signals Potential Breakout<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most large cap altcoins are showing slight gains today. Ethereum continues to hold above two thousand three hundred dollars, while XRP trades close to one dollar and forty cents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although XRP has moved slowly over the past week and month, analysts believe it is building momentum for a significant move. Depending on the broader market direction, price targets range from one dollar to one dollar and eighty two cents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Binance Coin is approaching six hundred twenty dollars, Dogecoin is near eleven cents, and TRX has gained about three percent to reach thirty four cents. Other notable gainers include ZEC and TAO, while HYPE and Bitcoin Cash have posted the largest declines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Algorand leads daily gains with an increase of eleven percent.
