BitGo<\/a> is reducing its workforce by nearly 15% as the digital asset infrastructure company sharpens its focus on stablecoins, trading, security, settlement services, and AI driven infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company said the layoffs are a one time restructuring move, with no additional workforce reductions currently planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strategic Shift Toward Core Growth Areas<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mike Belshe, BitGo\u2019s co founder and CEO, said the decision reflects major changes in both the financial services and crypto sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Belshe, the evolving market environment requires BitGo to operate with greater focus and a more deliberate strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He explained that the workforce reduction is intended to help the company allocate talent and resources toward the business areas considered most critical for long term growth and client demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belshe acknowledged that the decision was difficult and expressed appreciation for employees who contributed to building the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He noted that affected employees would be informed directly by their managers and human resources teams before the announcement became public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Addressing the remaining staff, Belshe encouraged employees to support one another and maintain strong communication throughout the transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
