Nearly one year after Jim Cramer introduced the \u201cPARC\u201d stock basket on CNBC\u2019s Mad Money<\/em>, three of the four companies in the group have either declined sharply or delivered little growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PARC basket included Palantir, AppLovin, Robinhood, and Coinbase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the time, many investors viewed the grouping as a bullish signal for crypto related stocks. However, one year later, Coinbase has emerged as the weakest performer among the four.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coinbase Becomes PARC\u2019s Biggest Underperformer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cramer introduced PARC on July 14, 2025, describing the four stocks as market favorites driven heavily by retail enthusiasm and momentum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He argued at the time that the market had effectively split into two major groups: the S&P 500 and the PARC basket, with the latter benefiting from intense momentum trading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to updated performance data shared on June 29, 2026 by market commentator Heisenberg, Coinbase has delivered the worst performance since PARC was created, falling by 62%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional market data shows Coinbase traded between $139 and $444 over the past 52 weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At around $149, the stock is now trading close to the lower end of that range, far below the levels seen when investor confidence was much stronger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interestingly, financial disclosures filed in May revealed that Donald Trump purchased Coinbase shares between January and March 2026 through third party financial managers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mixed Performance Across PARC Stocks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Palantir has also struggled, declining roughly 25% since PARC was introduced and around 40% in 2026 alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stock previously reached a 52 week high near $207 but is now trading around $113.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robinhood has remained largely unchanged, making it relatively stable compared to the rest of the basket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this month, Robinhood expanded its crypto business into Canada after completing its $180 million acquisition of WonderFi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company now serves more than one million funded international customers, though this growth has had limited impact on its stock performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AppLovin stands out as the only strong performer in the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since PARC was introduced, AppLovin has gained 34%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even so, its current share price of around $477 remains well below its 52 week high of $745.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the four companies, AppLovin is clearly the strongest outlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From PARC to CRAP<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before settling on PARC in 2025, Cramer reportedly considered another acronym: CARP, which rearranged the same four stocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, market participants created their own version: CRAP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One year later, some analysts believe that joke acronym ended up reflecting reality more accurately than the original basket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Market analyst Shanaka Anslem Perera revisited the idea in a recent post, noting that the acronym appeared at the peak of investor enthusiasm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
