Ripple Secures $200 Million Financing Deal to Expand Institutional Crypto Services

Ripple, the company behind XRP and the RLUSD stablecoin, has announced a major step toward strengthening its position in institutional cryptocurrency finance through a new $200 million financing arrangement.

The company confirmed that it secured a significant debt facility from funds managed by Neuberger Berman, highlighting growing interest from traditional financial institutions in Ripple’s expanding ecosystem.

Funding to Support Ripple Prime Expansion

The financing will support the continued growth of Ripple Prime, the company’s multi asset prime brokerage platform that was rebranded last year following Ripple’s acquisition of Hidden Road.

Neuberger Private Markets, a division of Neuberger Berman, has spent nearly four decades investing across private market strategies, asset classes, and global regions for institutional and high net worth clients.

Ripple stated that the new debt facility arrives as demand continues rising for institutional grade prime brokerage services and margin financing solutions.

Ripple Prime, which reportedly tripled its revenue during 2025, will be able to access up to $200 million through the financing agreement as it expands its services and adapts to evolving client needs.

Ripple Highlights Importance of Strong Institutional Infrastructure

Ripple Prime President Noel Kimmel said the facility will help the company scale alongside its growing client base by increasing margin capacity, improving responsiveness, and enhancing capital efficiency.

Kimmel also praised Neuberger Specialty Finance for its expertise in asset based financing and its understanding of Ripple’s business model.

According to him, the partnership reflects confidence in the prime services platform Ripple has built and the opportunities ahead for further growth.

He added that reliable access to financing and strong balance sheet support are essential for institutional participants operating in today’s fast moving financial markets.
