Bitcoin returned to its familiar trading range between $62,000 and $64,000 over the past 24 hours, testing both ends of the range before facing resistance. Meanwhile, most large cap altcoins posted modest gains, with Cardano leading the market.
Bitcoin Recovers After Another Volatile Session
The past week brought significant price swings for Bitcoin as investors reacted to major macroeconomic developments.
The cryptocurrency was rejected near $65,600 ahead of the Federal Reserve’s policy announcement and fell below $63,000. Although the Fed ultimately left interest rates unchanged, Bitcoin’s volatility continued.
After another brief decline, BTC rallied above $65,000 on Friday before sellers pushed it back down. The correction continued through the weekend, with prices dropping to around $62,400 on Friday and $62,200 on Saturday.
Market sentiment improved on Sunday after US President Donald Trump called off planned military strikes against Iran, allowing Bitcoin to rebound to roughly $63,800. However, the rally quickly faded, sending the asset back to $62,200 on Monday.
Fresh inflows into spot Bitcoin exchange traded funds may have helped revive bullish momentum, lifting BTC back to $64,000 within hours. The cryptocurrency briefly touched $64,200 before pulling back and was trading just above $63,000 at the latest update.
Bitcoin’s market capitalization has recovered to approximately $1.275 trillion, while its market dominance remains just below 57 percent.
Audiera Leads Daily Losses While Cardano Outperforms
Audiera (BEAT) remained one of the market’s weakest performers, extending its decline after failing to maintain its recent rally. The token dropped around 20 percent over the past day, falling below the $3 mark after posting strong double digit gains earlier in the week.
Uniswap (UNI), STABLE, and CC also recorded losses, though their declines were considerably smaller.
On the upside, Cardano (ADA) continued to outperform the broader market with a gain of more than 5 percent, pushing its price close to $0.20, its highest level in several months.
Avalanche (AVAX) and Polkadot (DOT) also advanced by more than 5 percent. Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), BNB, Dogecoin (DOGE), and Monero (XMR) posted gains of around 1 percent, while HYPE climbed roughly 4 percent and Zcash (ZEC) added about 2.5 percent.
The total cryptocurrency market capitalization recovered approximately $40 billion from the previous day’s low, rising to around $2.24 trillion.#crypto#cryptonews https://coinsignals.net https://t.me/coinsignalpublic
