Cardano Quietly Builds Momentum as ADA Stages Strong Bear Market Recovery

Cardano is beginning to stand out in the current market cycle, with ADA posting a strong weekly rally while network development, whale accumulation, and decentralized finance activity continue to accelerate despite muted retail participation.

ADA climbed to $0.195, its highest level since July 4, after gaining nearly 26 percent over the past week. The move has made Cardano one of the better performing altcoins during an otherwise volatile market, prompting analysts to question who is fueling the latest rally.

Whales Drive Demand as Retail Remains Cautious

Data from Santiment shows that Cardano has lost around 7,070 non empty wallets over the past two months, indicating that many smaller investors have yet to return to the market.

The combination of rising prices and fewer active holders suggests that larger investors are absorbing available supply while retail sentiment remains subdued.

Despite the decline in wallet numbers, Cardano’s ecosystem continues to make progress. Recent developments include work on the Leios testnet, Hydra scaling solution, Mithril upgrades, Pyth Network integration, and new Catalyst funding initiatives.

Large investors have also increased their exposure. According to analyst Ali Martinez, whales accumulated more than 240 million ADA within just five days.

Analyst JAVON MARKS compared ADA’s current market structure to its 2020 through 2021 breakout, suggesting the token could eventually target $2.90 if history repeats itself, though that remains well above current prices.

Leon Voss noted that ADA has broken above a long standing descending trendline that had limited its price for an extended period. However, he emphasized that maintaining support above $0.17 will be critical.

Crypto Patel also expressed optimism, saying Cardano has completed one of the deepest corrections in its history and returned to a historical demand zone that previously launched a major rally. According to his outlook, a move above $0.28 would strengthen the bullish trend, while a breakout above $0.50 would provide stronger confirmation. A two week close below $0.08 would invalidate that scenario.

DeFi Growth and Developer Activity Remain Strong

Cardano’s decentralized finance ecosystem is also showing renewed strength. Total value locked increased by roughly 11 percent over the past week, climbing from $62.32 million to nearly $70 million.

Beyond price performance, the network continues to rank among the most actively developed blockchain projects. Data from Chainspect shows Cardano recorded 43 active developers over the past 30 days, placing it ahead of Solana, which had 21 developers during the same period. Ethereum maintained a commanding lead with 475 active developers.#crypto#cryptonews https://coinsignals.net https://t.me/coinsignalpublic
